*Sana’a University Academic Council Approves Promotions, Academic Status Adjustments, and Tenure Confirmation for Eight Faculty Members*

The Academic Council of Sana’a University held today its second regular meeting for the 1448 AH/2026 academic year, chaired by Prof. Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Muta’a, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Chairman of the Council, with Council members in attendance.
Opening the meeting, Prof. Al-Muta’a emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to enhance academic performance and improve the quality of the educational process, thereby strengthening the University’s academic mission and its ability to keep pace with developments across various academic fields.
The Council reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting before proceeding to consider the items on its agenda. It discussed a number of academic and organizational matters related to the educational process, as well as measures aimed at enhancing academic and research performance across the University’s faculties and centers.
The Council approved three academic promotions and six academic status adjustment, in addition to confiming the tenure for eight faculty members, as part of the University’s efforts to promote academic stability and strengthen the capabilities of its academic staff.
The Council also considered a number of academic, research, and organizational issues. It adopted the appropriate decisions, contributing to the development of institutional performance and the continued enhancement of the quality of education and scientific research at Sana’a University.
