Internal Assessment Committee Conducts Field Visit to Faculty of Engineering

Sana’a, Yemen – An internal assessment committee commissioned by Prof. Huda Ali Al-Emad, Director of the Development and Quality Assurance Center at Sana’a University, under the directive of University Rector, Prof. Al-Kasem Mohammed Abass, conducted a daylong field visit to the Faculty of Engineering on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.
Upon arrival, the committee was welcomed by Dr. Abdulwahab Al-Nunou, Vice Dean for Quality Affairs, and members of the committee responsible for preparing for the accreditation standards review. The assessment team then conducted a comprehensive review of the Faculty of Engineering’s self-assessment documentation and provided on-site technical support to Faculty staff.
The committee commended the Faculty of Engineering for its progress in aligning its operations with the approved standards, while providing constructive observations and requesting some supplementary documentation be furnished before their next visit.
