Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center

The Documentation and Information Unit is responsible for enhancing documentation and building the database and information infrastructure for all quality assurance, accreditation, and academic development affairs at the University. It also seeks to improve the quality of information systems, programs, networks, databases, maintenance, and digital libraries, in accordance with international quality requirements to enhance the quality of educational services at the University in the field of informatics.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Documentation and Information Unit:

  1. Supporting and ensuring the quality of information systems, programs, networks, databases, and maintenance according to international quality requirements, to improve the quality of University services in the field of informatics.
  2. Monitoring the application of quality standards for the Electronic Content Management System to manage educational and research content.
  3. Supervising the application of quality standards for the Electronic Archive Documentation System within the University.
  4. Assisting in applying quality standards to the University’s paper and electronic libraries to meet quality and academic accreditation requirements in cooperation with relevant units.
  5. Issuing publications and materials aimed at improving the quality of University education.
  6. Publicizing the Center’s activities through various media in coordination with relevant authorities.
  7. Assisting colleges in applying quality standards in information systems, programs, networks, databases, and maintenance to improve the quality of University services in the field of informatics.
  8. Monitoring the application of quality standards to the management of an integrated information system to document all the activities of the Center and document the quality work at the University.
  9. Working to monitor quality standards for the Electronic Archive System within the University.
  10. Building a database related to quality, accreditation, and academic development activities, as well as archiving and documenting, in images and videos, all quality and accreditation events at the University and the Center, and all University-produced material in the field of quality, accreditation, and academic development.
