He also noted that the Faculty of Science holds the distinction of being the first faculty established at Sana’a University.

He described this initiative as a national service undertaken by CAQA, following the completion, review, and submission of institutional accreditation standards to educational institutions. In addition, at the beginning of the month, the university submitted self-evaluation reports for its faculties, leading to the formation of an expert review team to analyze and assess the documents. Based on the initial report, the visit was scheduled to verify the evidence and documentation provided.

The Secretary-General further confirmed that CAQA will conduct field visits to the remaining faculties in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Prof. Omar Al-Shuja’a outlined the visit plan, which will span four days and include a series of meetings, interviews, and evaluations of the faculty’s facilities, equipment, and academic resources in alignment with accreditation standards and indicators.
