CAQA: Field Visit of the External Review Team for Institutional Accreditation to the Faculty of Arts at Sana’a University

Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Hasan Al-Saadi, Minister of Education and Scientific Research, and in continuation of the steps to obtain institutional accreditation for the faculties of Sana’a University, the CAQA carried out this morning a field visit of the external review team to the Faculty of Arts, headed by Prof. Abdulrahman Yahya Ahmed Al-Haifi, and with the membership of Dr. Hisham Abdullah Al-Mikhlafi, and Dr. Mohammed Ali Ali Al-Khulaidi, and Dr. Mohammed Qasim Ghanem Al-Sharmani, while the expert committee was headed by Prof. Noman Fairouz, member of the council, and Mr. Salah Al-Mikhlafi as a member. At the beginning of the visit, a meeting was held headed by Prof. Abdulaziz Al-Shuaibi, Vice Chairman of the Council, and in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, his deputies, and heads of departments, to inform them of the importance of the visit and the procedures that the team will carry out during the four days. The field visit plan was also reviewed.
This visit came after the Council received the self-evaluation files of the faculty, formed the review team, and studied, examined, and analyzed the files, and the initial report was submitted by the team to the Council.
It is worth noting that the team will continue for four days, during which many meetings and interviews will be conducted with representatives of the standards, and visits to the facilities, equipment, and contents of the faculty.
