CAQA: Field Visit of the External Review Team for Institutional Accreditation to the Faculty of Petroleum and Natural Resources at Sana’a University

Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Hassan Al-Saadi, Minister of Education and Scientific Research, and as a continuation of the steps to obtain institutional accreditation for the faculties of Sana’a University, the Council for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education conducted this morning a field visit by the external review team to the Faculty of Petroleum and Natural Resources, headed by Prof. Nabil Mohammed Al-Areeq, and the membership of Prof. Ghunaim Shamsan Nasher, and Prof. Ali Mohammed Abdo Al-Houbani, and Dr. Mohammed Jubran Al-Shamahi, while the committee of experts was headed by Prof. Sharaf Al-Humdi, a member of the council, and the membership of Ms. Amira Al-Shabuti, where the visit began with holding the first meeting headed by Dr. Mohammed Dhaifullah, the Secretary-General, the Dean of the Faculty, his deputies, heads of departments, and faculty members. This visit came after the completion of the field visit to a number of university faculties, which took place during the past two weeks.
The team will visit the faculty’s facilities and laboratories and hold many meetings and interviews with representatives of academic standards to verify the evidence and documentation that were included in the self-evaluation files, which were submitted to the council and reviewed, examined, analyzed, and produced the initial report.
