CAQA: External Reviewers Team Concludes Field Visit for Institutional Accreditation of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Sana’a University

Today, the external reviewers’ team for institutional accreditation of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Sana’a University, appointed by the CAQA, concluded its four-day field visit. Throughout this time, the team engaged in numerous meetings and interviews with academic standards representatives, and visited the faculty’s facilities, laboratories, amenities, classrooms, library, and lecture halls.
At the end of the visit, the team presented its final report. Dr. Mohammed Dhaifallah, General Secretary, emphasized the importance of institutional accreditation and outlined the requirements the faculty must address following the visit. He also expressed appreciation for the efforts of the team, which was led by Prof. Amin Mohammed Ahmed Al-Kustaban, alongside Prof. Fouad Hasan Mohammed Abdulrazzaq, Prof. Abdulmajid Mohammed Al-Maqdashi, and Dr. Mohammed Sarhan Al-Duais. Appreciation was also extended to the supporting committee, headed by Dr. Huda Al-Sanhani, accompanied by Mr. Mansour Al-Selwi, General Director of Media, and Mr. Abdullah Al-Hakimi, as well as to the university’s Rector, Prof. Al-Qasim Mohammed Abbas, the Dean of the Faculty, Vice Deans, and heads of departments, for facilitating the team’s work.
In the presentation, attended by Dr. Huda Al-Imad, Dean of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center, Prof. Amin Al-Kustaban, the team’s leader, presented the field visit plan, the actions undertaken by the team, and highlighted the program’s strengths and weaknesses.
Dr. Huda Al-Sanhani, General Director of Accreditation, reviewed the steps and procedures for academic accreditation, from the signing of the agreement to the post-visit phase.
The presentation was attended by heads of departments, faculty members, and students.
