CAQA: External Reviewers Team Conducts a Field Visit for Programmatic Accreditation of the Veterinary Medicine Program at Sana’a University

Under the patronage of Prof. Hassan Al-Saadi, Minister of Education and Scientific Research, and as part of the ongoing process to achieve institutional and programmatic accreditation for the faculties and programs at Sana’a University, the CAQA conducted a field visit today for the external reviewers’ team for the Veterinary Medicine Program at Sana’a University. The team was led by Dr. Ibrahim Radman Mohammed Al-Shaibani, accompanied by Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Atiq Al-Khader and Prof. Aref Saleh Mohammed Abdulghani. The expert committee was chaired by Prof. Lotfi Al-Maqtari, a council member, accompanied by Dr. Mohsen Al-Hazmi, the Director of Follow-Up at the CAQA.
The visit commenced with a meeting attended by Dr. Mohammed Dhaifallah, General Secretary, the Dean of the Faculty, Vice Deans, and heads of departments, during which they were briefed on the importance of the visit and the procedures that would be carried out over the next three days. The team leader also presented the field visit plan.
This visit follows the submission of the program’s self-assessment documents to the CAQA, the formation of the reviewers’ team, and the subsequent review, analysis, and evaluation of the files, resulting in the preliminary report presented by the team.
It is worth noting that the visit will span three days, during which the team will hold several meetings and interviews with representatives of the academic standards and visit the program’s facilities, laboratories, amenities, and resources.
