Sana’a University ADQAC Evaluates Academic and Administrative Performance at Faculty of Education – Sana’a

A team from the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center (ADQAC) at Sana’a University conducted a field visit today, Monday, to the Faculty of Education – Sana’a as part of the Center’s periodic performance evaluation and monitoring program for the University’s faculties. The visit aimed to assess the level of academic and administrative performance, evaluate the readiness of the infrastructure, and determine its compliance with quality assurance and academic accreditation standards.
The visiting team comprised Dr. Ilham Al-Shaibani, Dr. Fathia Al-Hamdani, and Ms. Naseem Al-Kebsi. The team reviewed the progress of the educational and research processes at the Faculty and inspected classrooms, laboratories, service facilities, and various components of the infrastructure to assess their suitability to academic requirements and standards and identify strengths and opportunities for improvement and development.
The team also held a meeting with the Faculty’s leadership, attended by Dr. Saad Al-Alawi, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Bashir Mufrah, Vice Dean for Quality Assurance; the Vice Dean for Student Affairs; the Faculty Secretary; and the Services Manager. The meeting reviewed academic, administrative, and institutional performance indicators, discussed the level of achievement and continuous improvement and development plans, and explored mechanisms for enhancing the quality of educational and research processes and administrative services.
The ADQAC team emphasized the importance of the Faculty’s continued efforts to foster a culture of comprehensive quality, develop institutional practices, and enhance academic and administrative performance. Such efforts contribute to achieving the Faculty’s mission and objectives and strengthening its readiness to meet quality assurance and academic accreditation requirements.
The visit forms part of the ADQAC’s program for monitoring and evaluating the performance of Sana’a University’s faculties and centers, supporting continuous improvement plans, and strengthening compliance with quality standards and institutional practices, thereby contributing to improved performance and enhanced efficiency of the University’s educational, research, and administrative outcomes.
