Internal Assessment Committee Conducts Field Visit to Faculty of Pharmacy

Sana’a, Yemen – On August 12th and 13th, 2024, an internal assessment committee commissioned by Prof. Huda Ali Al-Emad, Director of the Development and Quality Assurance Center at Sana’a University, under the directive of University Rector, Prof. Al-Kasem Mohammed Abass, conducted a field visit to the Faculty of Pharmacy.
The primary objective of the visit was to evaluate the Faculty of Pharmacy’s progress in meeting the standards required for institutional and programmatic accreditation. The committee reviewed documentation and evidence pertaining to the college’s self-assessment study, providing valuable technical support ahead of the formal submission to the Council of Accreditation and Quality Assurance (CAQA).
The committee, chaired by Assoc. Prof. Ahmed Mujahid, commended the Faculty of Pharmacy for its dedication to achieving accreditation standards and they provided constructive observations and requested additional documentation to be furnished prior to their next visit.
