CAQA: External Reviewers Team Conducts a Field Visit for Institutional Accreditation of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Sana’a University

Under the patronage of Prof. Hassan Al-Saadi, Minister of Education and Scientific Research, and as part of the ongoing process to achieve institutional accreditation for the faculties at Sana’a University, the CAQA conducted a field visit today for the external reviewers’ team for the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Sana’a University. The team was led by Prof. Amin Mohammed Ahmed Al-Kustaban, accompanied by Prof. Fouad Hasan Mohammed Abdulrazzaq, Prof. Abdulmajid Mohammed Al-Maqdashi, and Dr. Mohammed Sarhan Al-Duais. The expert committee was chaired by Dr. Huda Al-Sanhani, Acting General Director of Accreditation, accompanied by Prof. Abdullah Al-Hakimi.
The visit began with a meeting attended by Dr. Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Hoboub, CAQA Chairman, the Dean of the Faculty, Vice Deans, and heads of departments, where they were briefed on the significance of the visit and the procedures to be followed over the next four days. Additionally, the field visit plan was reviewed.
This visit follows the submission of the program’s self-assessment documents to the CAQA, the formation of the reviewers’ team, the subsequent review, analysis, and evaluation of the files, and the submission of the preliminary report to the council.
It is worth noting that the visit will span four days, during which the team will hold several meetings and interviews with representatives of the academic standards and visit the faculty’s facilities, laboratories, amenities, and amenities.
