CAQA: External Reviewers Team Concludes Field Visit for Institutional Accreditation of the Faculty of Arts at Sana’a University

Today, the external reviewers’ team for institutional accreditation of the Faculty of Arts at Sana’a University, appointed by the CAQA, concluded its four-day field visit. Throughout this time, the team engaged in numerous meetings and interviews with academic standards representatives, and visited the faculty’s facilities, laboratories, amenities, classrooms, library, and lecture halls.
At the end of the visit, the team presented its final report. Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Shuaibi, Vice Chairman of the Council, emphasized the importance of institutional accreditation and outlined the requirements the faculty must address following the visit. He also expressed appreciation for the efforts of the team, led by Prof. Abdulrahman Yahya Ahmed Al-Haifi, accompanied by Dr. Hisham Abdullah Al-Mikhlafi, Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Khalidi, and Dr. Mohammed Qassim Al-Shurmani. Appreciation was also extended to the supporting committee, headed by Prof. Nouman Fayrouz, accompanied by Mr. Salah Al-Mikhlafi and Mr. Mohammed Al-Sabri, as well as to the university’s Rector, Prof. Al-Qasim Mohammed Abbas, the Dean of the Faculty, Vice Deans, and heads of departments, for facilitating the team’s work.
Prof. Nouman Fayrouz reviewed the steps and procedures for academic accreditation, from the signing of the agreement to the post-visit phase.
In the presentation, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Haifi, the team’s leader, presented the field visit plan, the actions undertaken by the team, and highlighted the program’s strengths and weaknesses.
The presentation was attended by heads of departments, faculty members, and students.
