CAQA: External Reviewers Team Concludes Field Visit for Programmatic Accreditation of Physical Education Program at Sana’a University

Today, the external reviewers’ team concluded its field visit for the accreditation of the Physical Education Program at Sana’a University, which lasted for three consecutive days during which the team conducted several meetings and interviews with academic standards representatives and toured the faculty’s facilities, laboratories, amenities, classrooms, library, lecture halls, and other campus amenities.
At the end of the visit, the team delivered a final presentation in which Dr. Mohammed Dhaifallah, General Secretary, explained the procedures for program accreditation, clarified the differences between program and institutional accreditation, and outlined the steps the faculty must take following the visit.
He also expressed his gratitude for the dedicated efforts excreted by team, led by Prof. Khalid Ali Ahmed Al-Buraei accompanied by Prof. Ismail Yusef Ismail Baghoui and Prof. Mohammed Hussein Ahmed Al-Nidhari, who participated remotely via Zoom. Appreciation was also given to the expert committee, chaired by Dr. Mosa Ghurab and comprising Dr. Hussein Hanash, Mr. Mohammed Al-Sabri, and Mr. Ramzi Al-Sarahi, as well as to the university’s Rector, Prof. Al-Qasim Mohammed Abbas, to the Vice-Rectors, and Heads of departments, for their support in facilitating the team’s work. Special thanks were also extended to Dr. Huda Al-Imad, Dean of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center.
In the presentation, Dr. Mosa Ghurab also reviewed the program accreditation procedures from the signing of the agreement to the post-visit phase. Prof. Khalid Al-Buraei, the team’s leader, presented the field visit plan, the actions undertaken by the team, and highlighted the program’s strengths and weaknesses.
The presentation was attended by the Vice-rectors, Heads of Departments, faculty members, and students.
