Sana’a University Center for Academic Development and Quality Assurance Holds ‎Regular Meeting

The Development and Quality Assurance Council at Sana’a University convened its regular ‎meeting today, chaired by Dean of the Center, Prof. Huda Ali Al-Emad, and attended by ‎council members.‎

During the meeting, Prof. Al-Emad emphasized the importance of uploading faculty research ‎to Google Scholar and called upon deputy deans for quality assurance at each faculty to ‎supervise and review the uploading of research contributions by all academic staff.‎

Prof. Al-Emad also urged for continuous evaluation of college and center websites in ‎accordance with the approved evaluation form, review of executive plans, and preparation ‎of a matrix of key activities that promote and advance educational process. Such efforts are ‎part of preparations for the self-assessment of graduate studies in accordance with the ‎Council accreditation standards.‎

In addition, Prof. Al-Emad underscored the importance of organizing four training ‎workshops in each faculty: a workshop on updating course specification for Master’s ‎programs in faculties and centers, a workshop on teaching methodologies, a workshop on ‎exam preparation, and a workshop on course file preparation.‎
