In implementation of the directives Sana’a University Rector, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, emphasizing close follow-up and continuous improvement of university facilities, and in line with the recommendations of the external review committees for national accreditation to submit periodic reports on progress through ongoing evaluations, the Dean of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center, Prof. Huda Ali Al-Emad, assigned specialized committees to assess the university’s faculties and centers.

The committees included Dr. Hussein Al-Ashwal, Dr. Kholoud Al-Nasser, and Mr. Nasser Mohammed. This initiative comes within the framework of the scheduled field visits to all university faculties and centers, aiming to fulfill continuous improvement requirements and enhance the efficiency of facilities in accordance with programmatic and institutional accreditation standards.

During the visit, the committees conducted a comprehensive assessment of the infrastructure at the Faculty of Mass Communication, covering maintenance, modernization, and cleanliness, in addition to evaluating the readiness of lecture halls, laboratories, and academic and service facilities, to ensure their compliance with quality assurance and institutional accreditation standards.

At the conclusion of the visit, the committees submitted their technical reports outlining key needs, observations, and recommendations required to complete development efforts. These steps reflect the University’s commitment to improving the educational environment, enhancing the quality of its facilities, and meeting the requirements of national academic accreditation.
