The Visit of the Head of Construction and Engineering at the International Committee of the Red Cross to Sana’a University – Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences
Professor Dr. Khaled Al-Khamesy, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at Sana’a University, welcomed the Engineer Linda Fantinati Water and Habitat responsible at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Yemen during an inspection visit to the new building under construction at the college, which is expected to be completed in the coming months.
During the visit, the official reviewed the progress of the project and praised Sana’a University’s efforts in developing its educational infrastructure in line with international standards, contributing to the enhancement of the educational and training environment for students in various medical specializations.
The official also affirmed the ICRC’s commitment to supporting developmental projects that enhance the capacities of academic institutions in Yemen, highlighting the importance of joint cooperation in advancing the medical education sector in the country.
For his part, Dr. Al-Khamesy expressed his appreciation to the ICRC for its continuous support, emphasizing that this project will contribute to enhancing high-quality medical education and graduating qualified professionals to serve the community and strengthen the healthcare system.
