AD Scientific Index (Alper-Doger Scientific Index) is the only university/institution ranking system that analyzes the distribution of scientists in an institution according to the top % 10, %20, %40, %60, % 80, 90% percentiles, and total scientists. In addition to the country, continent, and world ranking of all institutions (24,367), the “Type of Institution” section provides the ranking of universities separately among All Universities (18,551), Private Universities (8,282) and Public Universities (10,269) is given separately. You can also find the rankings of institutions (3,420), companies (1,994), and hospitals (343). “AD Scientific Index” is the only source where you can evaluate all these institutions according to the Total H Index, Last 6 Years H Index, Total i10 Index, Last 6 Years i10 Index, Total Citations, and Last 6 Years Citations and analyze the latest developments of the institution.
It is noteworthy that AD Scientific Index in its 2025 version has expanded its academic data coverage, enhanced data analysis tools, and added numerous new features to improve the user’s experience. It has also added seven new rankings: Social Sciences & Humanities Rankings and Art & Humanities Rankings, both at institutional and individual (H-Index, i10 Index, Citations) levels, along with Under 30 Years Young University/Institution Rankings. AD Scientific Index for 2025 includes 24,367 institutions and 2,399,934 scientists across 220 countries in 13 major academic fields and 197 disciplines.
This ranking system is a crucial tool for assessing universities based on their scientists’ performance and the added value of the scientific research produced by the participating researchers. It considers the scientific contributions of researchers affiliated with educational institutions, based on their research productivity and scholarly influence which enable their institutions to advance in global ranking.
The AD Scientific Index measures research impact using the Google Scholar platform and metrics like H-index, i10-index, and the number of citations for researchers’ publications. It is one of the most significant systems that considers research impact, and individual researcher contributions.
