The Continuing Education Unit at the Faculty of Dentistry, Sana’a University, concluded the training course titled “Research Proposal Preparation.” Conducted by Dr. Roua Al-Sayaghi, the course ran for a full week from June 13 to June 17, with three hours of daily instruction.
The course aimed to develop participants’ skills in preparing and writing research proposals in accordance with modern scientific and methodological standards. It covered several key pillars, including:

Selecting research topics and formulating research questions and hypotheses.

Conducting literature reviews and designing research methodologies.

Determining sample sizes and sampling techniques.

Drafting research objectives and introductions.

Organizing timelines, budgeting, and addressing ethical and regulatory aspects of scientific research.
The course witnessed outstanding engagement from participants across various specialties. It featured scholarly discussions and practical activities that enhanced a hands-on understanding of the stages of research proposal development and advanced their scientific research skills.
