SANA’A, YEMEN | April 16, 2026
As part of its ongoing commitment to practical excellence, the Faculty of Dentistry at Sana’a University organized a specialized field visit for its Bachelor of Dental Technology students to Value Dental Laboratory. Under the supervision of Prof. Yaseen Al-Faiq, the visit aimed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world application while exposing students to the latest advancements in digital dentistry.
During the site visit, first-year students received an in-depth look at state-of-the-art equipment driving the digital revolution in dental manufacturing. Laboratory specialists provided a comprehensive walkthrough of the digital workflow, detailing the process from initial case reception and digital scanning through modern fabrication stages to final delivery.
The visit served as a practical extension of the “Dental Equipment” curriculum. By engaging directly with professional-grade machinery, students were able to solidify theoretical concepts and gain a nuanced understanding of the tools they will use in their future careers.
“This experience has had a profound impact on our understanding of the field,” noted several participating students. “Seeing the rapid leap in digital dental technology firsthand has not only expanded our knowledge but also increased our enthusiasm for the profession.”
The students expressed their sincere gratitude to the management and staff at Value Lab for their warm reception and for providing a transparent look into professional operations.
The Faculty of Dentistry at Sana’a University reaffirmed its strategic mission to strengthen partnerships with specialized industrial centers. By prioritizing hands-on training and aligning educational outcomes with global technological trends, the University continues to prepare highly qualified professionals capable of competing in a rapidly evolving global market.
