*Sana’a University Academic Development Center and Quality Assurance Assesses Faculty of Dentistry Academic and Administrative Performance*

The Academic Development Center and Quality Assurance at Sana’a University conducted a comprehensive field assessment of the Faculty of Dentistry to evaluate its academic and administrative performance and monitor compliance with quality standards and institutional development requirements. The assessment aims to support continuous improvement in the Faculty’s educational, research, and administrative operations.
The assessment team comprised Dr. Mahdi Haidar, Dr. Mohammed Al-Baidhi, and Ms. Naseem Al-Kebsi. During the visit, the team reviewed the progress of educational and research activities at the Faculty and conducted an inspection tour of classrooms, laboratories, service facilities, and various infrastructure components. The team also assessed performance and progress across a range of academic and administrative areas.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held under the leadership of Dr. Muneer Al-Azani, with the participation of Dr. Taghreed Al-Kebsi, Vice Dean for Student Affairs; Mr. Yahya Al-Sharif, Faculty Secretary; and Mr. Ahmed Al-Arifi, Head of Student Affairs, along with a number of Faculty officials and specialists.
The meeting addressed a range of issues related to educational and research activities, as well as administrative matters. Participants reviewed performance across various areas and discussed observations and needs that could contribute to improving performance, strengthening the implementation of quality standards, and enhancing the academic and administrative services provided to students.
The meeting underscored the importance of continuing efforts toward development and continuous improvement, strengthening institutional practices, and applying quality standards across the Faculty’s operations. These efforts seek to keep pace with the requirements of higher education while supporting the Faculty’s objectives and improving its educational and research outcomes.
The field assessment reflects Sana’a University’s and the Academic Development Center and Quality Assurance’s commitment to continuously monitoring the performance of its faculties, supporting improvement and development initiatives, and fostering a culture of institutional quality. These efforts contribute to strengthening academic and administrative performance and advancing the overall quality of the Faculty of Dentistry.
