President of Sana’a University Inspects the Simulation and Clinical Skills Center at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences

As part of Sana’a University’s efforts to enhance the educational environment and improve the quality of medical education, Professor Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, President of the University, conducted a field visit to the Simulation and Clinical Skills Center at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
During the visit, the University President reviewed the center’s training units and observed the advanced equipment that simulates the clinical work environment. These facilities enable students to acquire practical medical skills in a safe and interactive setting before transitioning to real-life clinical training in hospitals.
Dr. Al-Bukhaiti expressed his admiration for the advanced level the center has reached, praising the efforts made to modernize and develop the infrastructure in line with the demands of contemporary medical education. He emphasized that the university leadership places great importance on specialized training centers, given their pivotal role in preparing young medical professionals according to the highest academic and professional standards.
For his part, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Shehari stated that the Simulation and Clinical Skills Center represents a qualitative leap in the Faculty’s medical education process. He highlighted the center’s effective role in training students in medical and clinical procedures, thereby enhancing their professional competence and contributing to the improvement of future healthcare services.
This visit is part of the university leadership’s ongoing efforts to activate training programs based on modern technologies and to establish interactive learning as a core pillar of academic excellence. These initiatives aim to strengthen the readiness of the Faculty’s graduates to enter the medical workforce with competence and confidence.
The University President was accompanied during the visit by Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Shehari, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences; Dr. Adel Al-Ghaili, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies; Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Muhibshi, Head of the Department of Otolaryngology; and Dr. Mohammed Al-Qaisi, Deputy Director of Al-Kuwait University Hospital.
