Sana’a University Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Conducts Admission Tests for MD Programs

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Sana’a University conducted admission tests for applicants seeking to enroll in its Medical Doctorate (MD) programs across various medical specialties. The tests were administered using a Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) format at the Faculty’s Electronic Testing Center, as part of the approved admission and assessment procedures for specialized medical programs.

The tests were attended and supervised by Faculty Dean Prof. Mohammed Al-Shahari, Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology Prof. Mohammed Al-Mahbashi, and Dr. Nasser Al-Ozaib, along with a number of faculty members. They reviewed the progress of the examinations and the level of organization and procedures in place to ensure their accurate and orderly administration.

The admission tests are part of the Faculty’s commitment to applying clear and equitable standards in the selection and admission of candidates to its MD programs and identifying academically and medically qualified applicants capable of pursuing advanced academic and specialized training in accordance with the programs’ academic requirements and standards.

Applicants sat for MCQ examinations designed to assess their level of medical knowledge and academic attainment in relevant fields. The results will contribute to evaluating their readiness to enroll in specialized programs and continue advanced study and professional training within the MD programs.

The on-site supervision and monitoring of the examinations demonstrated the Faculty’s commitment to providing a well-organized testing environment and adhering to academic and technical procedures that ensure the integrity of the examination process and the accuracy of its results. It also highlighted the effective use of the technological capabilities provided by the Electronic Testing Center to administer examinations through a modern and organized system.

The examinations further reflect the Faculty’s ongoing efforts to expand the use of electronic systems throughout educational assessment processes, in line with modern developments in testing, measurement, and academic evaluation, while enhancing efficiency and transparency in admission procedures.
