Sana’a University’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Concludes 37th Scientific Conference on Graduation Research

Under the auspices of Sana’a University Rector, Prof. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences concluded today, Thursday, its 37th Scientific Conference for the defense of graduation research projects by Doctor of Medicine (MD) students. This academic event underscores the faculty’s leading position as a premier institution in medical education and scientific research, and highlights its pivotal role in qualifying medical professionals capable of advancing the healthcare sector.
Over the course of the six-day conference, 740 male and female students from the 37th graduating class presented and defended 56 research papers. The projects addressed a wide spectrum of health and medical issues relevant to community needs, reinforcing the faculty’s strategic goal of utilizing scientific research to analyze healthcare challenges and develop effective, evidence-based solutions.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Shehari, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, emphasized that the conference marks a significant academic milestone in the students’ educational journey.
