Community Medicine Students Present Latest Updates on Epidemiological Surveillance in Yemen

Fourth-year students from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Sana’a University (Batch 40, Groups F1 and F2) today hosted a specialised scientific seminar entitled: “Epidemiological Surveillance and National Yemeni Programme Updates 2025.”
Under the academic supervision of Dr. Aisha Khaled Al-Daari, the seminar focused on the strategic pillars of one of Yemen’s most critical primary healthcare initiatives. The presentations detailed the latest protocols and data sets integrated into the National Programme to address the country’s current health and epidemiological challenges.
The seminar was distinguished by its technical rigour. Students demonstrated their proficiency in infectious diseases monitoring mechanisms, early warning systems, epidemiological data analysis for the year 2025 to support evidence-based health decision-making.
Dr. Aisha Al-Daari and the attendees commended the students for their exceptional academic performance and their ability to keep pace with the continuous updates within the national health system. The seminar highlighted the students’ mastery of research and analytical tools essential for community medicine.
