First-Year Medical Students Complete Microbiology Practical Final Exams

As part of the ongoing practical examination schedule, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Sana’a University conducted the final practical exam in Microbiology for first-year students (Batch 43 – Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery) for the academic year 1447 Hijri.
The examination focused on assessing students’ hands-on skills in core microbiological concepts. Key areas of evaluation included the ability to identify microorganisms, understand transmission mechanisms, and analyze their impact on human health. Additionally, the exam measured proficiency in laboratory techniques according to established scientific standards, ensuring students are well-prepared for subsequent clinical and medical coursework.
The Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences emphasized that practical examinations are a cornerstone of the medical education system, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical application. The administration reaffirmed its commitment to continuously developing assessment methods to meet academic quality standards and produce distinguished medical graduates.
