Summary:

I graduated from Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences – Sana’a university in bachelora degree of nursing science on 2003 and in master degree of Pediatric Nursing on 2013. I worked as volunteer in nursing division from 2003 – 2005 then I get competitive position in pediatric nursing department. During my job I supervise the practical part for pediatric nursing until 2011, then I take the theory part beside practical part until date.

These occupied positions, have afforded me a well-rounded skillset including; efficiency of communication, ability to be a trusted trainer and lecturer, become familiar with educational system, methods and materials.

Main Responsibility

Overall responsible for teaching of the child health Nursing subjects.

Key tasks

·         The main course I teach on are:

·         Child growth and development.

·         Child health nursing (immunizations, breastfeeding, nutrition, rights, abuse, safety, needs according to age group …etc.)

·         Follow up the practical part of the subject.

·         Participate in developmental strategic plan of lecturer process.

·         Modify the lecturer and training course according to the needs and ability of listener.

·         Using the training and teaching methods and instruction media effectively.

Sept 2005 – June 2011 Reader for Practical Pediatric Nursing
Main Responsibility

Overall responsible for the implementation of the child nursing care and growth and development measurements in the whole pediatric departments.

Key tasks

·         Supervise the students’ activities for all practical aspects.

·         Ensure that the whole students apply the nursing care and growth and development measures.

·         Explain and discuss the complicated cases with students in group discussion.

·         Distribute cases for students and discuss it as case study for all students.

·         Follow up students’ performance and attendance in the hospital and departments.

·         Prepare students distribution schedule inside hospital.

·         Explain physical assessment and nursing process for students and follow the cases assessment sheet, correct it and explain all mistake with the student.

·         Conduct final practical tests.
