Presentation of Graduation Project: An Awareness Campaign on Child Driving Risks

Faculty of Mass Communication at Sana’a University organized the presentation of an exceptional graduation project on Monday, as public relations students presented a high-impact awareness campaign titled “Protecting Childhood: The Dangers of Underage Driving.” The project highlighted the severe risks children face when driving cars, emphasizing threats to their safety and broader community well-being.
The event garnered significant institutional support, with key attendees including:
– Col. Abdullah Al-Rada’i, Director of Traffic Control,
– Col. Saleh Bahloul, Director of Training and Qualification,
– Maj. Nabil Al-Maghalis, Director of Public Relations and Moral Guidance,
– Capt. Munthir Azzan, Director of Road Traffic Police’s Moral Guidance Unit,
– Warrant Officer Nasr Al-Sa’afani, Traffic Media Photographer.
An academic committee comprising Dr. Abdulrahim Al-Shawri (Head of Public Relations), Prof. Omar Abrin, Dr. Fuad Sa’adan, and Dr. Hameed Al-Qudaimi evaluated the project, praising its professional execution, evidence-based messaging, and potential for real-world impact.
The student team—Ruqayah Ahmed, Salma Dawood, Sundus Al-Ya’mari, Amira Rawiya, Nadwa Abdulkarim, and Hamamah Ahmed—delivered a multimedia campaign combining social media content, community service, and collaborations with traffic authorities. Their work awarded the highest grade of “Excellent” for its creativity and contribution to public safety
