The Faculty of Mass Communication seeks to provide an educational environment for preparing well-qualified media cadres according to quality standards, who are committed to professional and ethical standards, and able to meet the needs of the labor market and development requirements.

The Department seeks to qualify graduates who can work efficiently in the Departments of Public Relations & Advertising in public and private institutions, through study courses that the students pass during the university level. The students are taught various methods of marketing relations for the institution, as well as the arts of writing, producing, and designing public relations materials. They also develop skills in organizing institutional events, planning and implementing public relations campaigns for various institutions, website management, and others.

 

The Department seeks to qualify students to practice working in print and electronic journalism. It also intends to enable students to think critically and derive journalistic and media ideas from the reality in which they exist.

 

Through this major, students are prepared and trained in audio-visual media techniques through study and practical programs in editing, presenting press releases, producing audio-visual programs in all its forms, and implementing them in broadcasting and television studios, which are well-equipped with up-to-date technology.
