Faculty of Mass Communication Holds Fifth Board Meeting for Academic Year 2025–2026
Faculty of Mass Communication Board convened its fifth meeting of the 2025–2026 academic year this Monday. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Hussein Jughman, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Head of the Radio and Television Department, in the presence of the Vice Dean for Quality Assurance, alongside department heads and board members.
The meeting was began with a review and approval of the minutes from the previous meeting. A primary focus of the meeting was the standardization of credit transfer (equivalence) protocols between the Faculty’s previous and newly implemented curricula. These updates, presented by the Head of the Examinations and Equivalence Committee, were formally ratified following prior approval by individual department boards.
Furthermore, the Board approved several research proposals submitted by the various academic departments. Members also addressed a range of student-related matters, passing resolutions aimed at enhancing academic standards and streamlining institutional performance within the Faculty.
