Sana’a University: Master’s Research Proposal Discussion for Researcher Naseem Ahmed Al-Feel at the Department of Journalism
Sana’a – On Saturday, August 23, 2025 (29/2/1447H), at 10:00 a.m., the Faculty of Mass Communication at Sana’a University held a seminar session to discuss the master’s thesis research proposal submitted by researcher Naseem Ahmed Al-Feel in the Department of Journalism, entitled:
“The Use of Artificial Intelligence by Yemeni Journalists in Producing News Content on Yemeni News Websites,”
supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sabah Abdu Al-Khishni.
The discussion panel included:
Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Ammar – Head of the Journalism Department
Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Faqih – Head of the Radio & Television Department
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sabah Al-Khishni – Supervisor of the researcher
Dr. Hussein Jaghman – Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies
Dr. Omar Abarin – Professor of Public Relations & Advertising
Dr. Abduh Al-Akwa
During the session, the researcher presented the key outlines of her proposal, addressing the study’s problem, objectives, significance, and hypotheses, in addition to the research methodology, review of previous studies, and the distinguishing aspects of her current work. She also explained the research sample and the scientific tools employed.
The seminar committee provided a number of constructive academic and technical remarks, praising the researcher’s effort in preparing the proposal.
The seminar was attended by a number of postgraduate researchers from the departments of Journalism, Radio & Television, and Public Relations & Advertising, in a fruitful academic and scientific atmosphere.
