Department of Radio and Television
A group of students from the Radio and Television Department at the Faculty of Mass Communication is continuing its intensive training program at Saba Satellite Channel for the fourth consecutive week. This forms part of the approved fieldwork plan designed to practically qualify them within a professional media environment.
During their visits, the students were introduced to the mechanisms for editing news tickers, techniques for drafting news stories, and the process of preparing television reports. They also followed the detailed stages of editing a complete news bulletin inside the newsroom.
The Channel’s management tasked the trainees with editing several news items and preparing news reports, in addition to working on the production of an integrated news bulletin. This practical approach aims to hone their skills and enhance their practical capabilities.
Specialists at the Channel expressed their thanks and appreciation to the students for the high level of comprehension they demonstrated and the efforts they invested in efficiently and skilfully completing the assignments entrusted to them.
