Sana’a University Faculty of Mass Communication Launches Major Declaration Period for First-Year Students
SANA’A – Following a series of comprehensive departmental orientations, the Faculty of Mass Communication has officially invited all first-year students to begin the process of declaring their specialized majors for the upcoming academic year. Students are required to visit the Faculty’s Information Systems Office before the end of the second semester to finalize their selections.
The declaration period follows a week of introductory lectures designed to guide students through the Faculty’s core disciplines:
– Journalism and Electronic Publishing
– Radio and Television
– Public Relations and Advertising
These sessions provided detailed insights into the academic curricula and professional career paths associated with each department, helping students align their choices with their personal talents and career aspirations.
To ensure administrative accuracy and procedural integrity, the Faculty has established the following guidelines:
– Major declarations must be completed in person.
– Students unable to attend must provide a legally certified power of attorney (proxy) and obtain direct approval from the Dean’s Office.
The declaration window will remain open for two weeks from the date of this announcement.
The administration urges all students to adhere strictly to this timeframe to avoid administrative delays or complications in their future course registrations.
