An extraordinary meeting of website administrators and quality deputies at the faculties and centers of Sana’a University at the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center

In implementation of the directives of Professor Dr. Al-Qasim Muhammad Abbas, President of Sana’a University, an extraordinary meeting was held today at the Development and Quality Assurance Center at Sana’a University, which brought together website administrators and quality deputies at the university’s faculties and centers with the aim of coordinating and cooperating to ensure that the information published on the university’s websites matches the approved programs and documents in the various faculties and centers.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Hoda Al-Imad, Dean of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center and Chair of the meeting, stressed the need to update the data of the websites of the faculties and scientific and research centers with updated information for postgraduate programs and study plans approved by the University Council in coordination with the quality deans’ deputies in the faculties and centers.
Prof. Dr. Hoda Al-Imad explained the importance of uploading the CVs of faculty members and their assistants at the university to the websites of the faculties and centers, uploading their academic data, and linking their published research on the Google Scholar website to their CVs.

Professor Adel Al-Hababi, Assistant President of the University for Media Affairs, stressed the need to work as a team and accomplish what was agreed upon as soon as possible, given the great importance of the websites of colleges and centers in conveying the full picture of the university’s capabilities to our local community and to international classification bodies, pointing out that the university, like other universities in all countries of the world, is currently subject to classification by more than one international body specialized in evaluating and classifying universities, and everyone in the colleges and centers must work to raise everything that would show the bright face of Sana’a University among the world’s universities.

During the meeting, the deputies of the deans of quality and the officials of the university’s websites in the colleges and centers were heard and a number of topics and ideas were discussed that aim to implement what was agreed upon.
