Sana’a University Faculty of Petroleum Organizes Lecture on Hydraulic Modeling and Remediation of the Sana’a Basin
Driven by the commitment of the Faculty of Petroleum and Natural Resources at Sana’a University to promote scientific research, a technical lecture was held by Dr. Yahya Mohammed Al-Wadhaf titled “Hydraulic Modeling of Groundwater Basins: A Case Study of the Sana’a Basin.”
The lecture discussed the fundamental stages of developing hydraulic models for groundwater reservoirs and their vital role in estimating water budgets. It also explored the creation of diverse scenarios to assess groundwater conditions under varying circumstances, aiming to establish effective interventions for addressing the quantitative and qualitative depletion of groundwater resources.
