Distinguished Student Activity at the Faculty of Petroleum and Natural Resources
Within the framework of enhancing interactive learning methods, bridging the gap between theory and practical application, and developing students’ research and scientific presentation skills, the Faculty of Petroleum and Natural Resources organized a student activity featuring scientific posters prepared by second-year students in the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering.
This activity was conducted as part of the “Sedimentation Processes and Products” course, under the supervision of the course instructor, Prof. Dr. Abdulkarim Al-Sabari, and was attended by the Dean of the Faculty and several department professors.
The students presented the contents of their studies using concise scientific texts supported by illustrations, photographs, and data. These posters were displayed in prominent locations within the college, allowing students and faculty members to view them and engage with their scientific content in a visually attractive manner.
The initiative aimed to develop skills in summarization and scientific communication, as well as to enhance effective visual presentation capabilities. The projects were evaluated based on scientific and design criteria to ensure the quality and clarity of the content.
