Students of the Faculty of Petroleum and Natural Resources at Sana’a University discussed graduation
projects, where the discussion of the bachelor’s degree graduation project for the Earth Sciences Department, Petroleum Geology track, was held under the title “Microfacies Analysis and Deduction of Depositional Environments of the Amran Group Section, Shuqra Formation, in Jabal Al-Hawl, Nihm District.” The research presented an in-depth geological study aimed at uncovering depositional secrets and developing scientific concepts regarding the geology of Yemen. This project was prepared by students Amal Abdullah Al-Nasiri and Hanan Muhammad Al-Qayri under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Wusabi and Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Ahmed Al-Sabari for the academic year 2025-2026, and it is considered one of the distinguished student projects of great importance in the field of study and scientific knowledge.
