The Faculty of Petroleum and Natural Resources at Sana’a University, under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Bakhaiti, and in cooperation with the University Student Forum, held a rhetorical and cultural event to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet’s Birthday. This was part of the events witnessed by the university on this blessed occasion, which included honoring the top students of various programs in the faculty across its multiple levels, alongside welcoming the new male and female students.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Baseem Al-Kharbash, his deputies, department heads, faculty members, administrative staff, employees, and students, alongside a large gathering of the families of the honored students.
Dr. Akram Al-Qurashi delivered a speech on behalf of the Dean of the Faculty, welcoming the attendees and praising the fragrant religious occasion.
The event also included religious chants and a poetic recitation delivered by one of the students, expressing the status of the Greatest Messenger, may God bless him and his pure family, and the importance of following his fragrant biography in various aspects of life.
The delivered speeches emphasized the importance of welcoming the new male and female students and introducing them to the faculty and its various departments, contributing to preparing them to engage in university life and enhancing their affiliation with their educational institution.
The event concluded with honoring the top-achieving male and female students across various programs and levels, in appreciation of their efforts and academic excellence, and to motivate them to continue success, amidst a festive atmosphere that reflected the spirit of appreciation and care for the students.
This event comes within the framework of the Faculty of Petroleum and Natural Resources’ keenness to enhance cultural and educational activities alongside its academic mission, and its care for students and encouragement of excellence, contributing to the preparation of qualified cadres capable of serving society and the nation.
