Sana’a University’s Faculty of Sharia and Law Holds First Academic Integrity Committee Meeting to Review Master’s and Ph.D. Proposals

SANA’A — The Graduate Academic Integrity and Rigor Committee at the Faculty of Sharia and Law convened its first meeting for the 1448 AH academic year. Chaired by Dr. Ismail Al-Wadhaf, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies, the meeting focused on reviewing scholarly proposals submitted by researchers targeting doctoral dissertations and Master’s theses registration across various departments.
During the session, the committee evaluated numerous research proposals, scrutinizing their originality, scholarly value, and alignment with institutional research priorities and societal needs. This vetting process aims to enhance the overall quality of graduate studies and elevate academic outcomes.
Dr. Ismail Al-Wadhaf emphasized the vital importance of adhering to strict standards of academic rigor when selecting research topics. He noted that the committee is dedicated to approving novel, authentic subjects that fulfill the rigorous demands of solid scientific research, thereby reinforcing the faculty’s academic and research stature.
This meeting aligns with ongoing efforts by Sana’a University’s Faculty of Sharia and Law to advance graduate programs, elevate scientific research standards, and encourage researchers to produce qualitative studies that enrich knowledge and address contemporary Sharia and legal issues.
