Faculty of Sharia and Law Council Reviews Academic And Administrative Matters at Second Meeting

SANA’A, July 6, 2026 — Faculty of Sharia and Law Council at Sana’a University convened its second meeting of the 1448 AH academic year. Chaired by the Dean, Dr. Mohammed Saad Najad, the meeting was attended by vice deans, department chairs, council members, and the student forum representative to discuss a range of academic and administrative agenda items.
The council opened the session by approving the minutes of its first meeting for the current academic year. Members also reviewed and approved the recommendations from the first Student Affairs Committee meeting held on July 4, 2026, which addressed student-related administrative and academic procedures.
Additionally, the council evaluated the Academic Committee’s report regarding a teaching assistant appointment within the Department of Legal History and Philosophy, approving the decision in compliance with current university bylaws and regulations.
Dean Dr. Mohammed Saad Najad highlighted the importance of collaborative teamwork and strict adherence to academic and administrative frameworks. He noted that these efforts are vital to enhancing educational outcomes, achieving the college’s mission, and preparing distinguished legal professionals to serve the community.
This session is part of the council’s regular meetings designed to monitor educational progress, address institutional matters, and implement decisions that support the faculty’s operational quality throughout the 1448 AH academic year.
