Faculty of Science Organizes Special Workshop on Teaching and Learning Strategies

The Faculty of Science at Sana’a University organized today a specialized training workshop on “Teaching and Learning Strategies.” The workshop was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammed Ahmad Al-Bukhaiti, President of the University, as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance academic performance and develop the quality of the educational process.
During his opening remarks, Dr. Mohammed Saleh Qasilah, Dean of the Faculty of Science, emphasized the vital importance of keeping pace with modern teaching methodologies, which contribute to raising the efficiency of university education and improving its outcomes. He urged the faculty members and their assistants to maximize their benefit from the skills and expertise presented by the trainer during the workshop.
The workshop was delivered by the international expert and trainer, Professor Dr. Arif Al-Hammadi, who reviewed prominent contemporary educational strategies and mechanisms for their classroom implementation. These strategies aim to foster interaction between faculty members and students, thereby elevating the university learning environment.
For her part, Professor Dr. Huda Al-Emad, Dean of the Development and Quality Assurance Center at Sana’a University, confirmed that the workshop falls within the university’s efforts to establish a culture of quality and academic excellence. She added that it aims to develop the skills of faculty members in alignment with modern higher education requirements.
The workshop witnessed active attendance and engagement from the college’s faculty and teaching assistants, reflecting the university’s overarching strategy to foster an innovative educational environment that supports creativity and advances academic performance.
