Sana’a University’s Faculty of Science Concludes Training Course on Histological Techniques and Cytology

The Faculty of Science at Sana’a University concluded a training course today, organized by the Community Service Affairs Unit in collaboration with MedLab Specialized Laboratories. The program, held under the patronage of the university leadership and the faculty deanship, lasted for two weeks.
The course focused on histological sectioning of pathological biopsies and cytology, aiming to develop the skills of personnel in handling pathological samples according to the latest scientific standards. This initiative seeks to improve the quality of laboratory services and support accurate medical diagnosis.
Additionally, the program addressed the importance of precise tissue section preparation and the use of cytological examination as an effective tool for early disease detection. The training featured a blend of theoretical and practical sessions, where participants were introduced to the latest technologies and conducted hands-on applications on real samples under the supervision of specialists.
