Sana’a University Launches 2nd Training Course to Boost Website Administrators’ Efficiency

The Faculty of Engineering at Sana’a University inaugurated today the activities of the second training course for website administrators. This initiative is part of the university’s plan for the academic year 1447 AH (2025–2026), aligned with its strategic direction to develop media and digital performance across various faculties and scientific centers.
During the opening session, Mr. Adel Al-Hababi, Assistant to the University President for Media Affairs, emphasized that organizing these courses stems from the university leadership’s keenness to elevate electronic workflows. He highlighted the commitment to enhancing the efficiency of those managing websites and social media platforms to ensure the delivery of professional content that reflects the university’s academic and scientific standing.
Al-Hababi pointed out that continuous training and qualification represent the cornerstone for the success of the digital transformation process and keeping pace with rapid technical developments. He noted the great attention paid to this aspect by Professor Dr. Mohammed Ahmad Al-Bukhaiti, President of the University, and his constant keenness to activate websites and social media pages across faculties and centers, considering them the university’s facade to both local and international communities, and a key tool in boosting its presence in global rankings.
Furthermore, Al-Hababi stressed the importance of adhering to professional publishing standards, continuously updating content, and maintaining disciplined performance to help unify the university’s media identity and enhance its credibility.
It is worth noting that the course will run for three days, for three hours daily, with the participation of 20 male and female trainees. These participants include newly appointed administrators for recently launched websites or those who have recently joined the web management teams.
The course is conducted by Engineer Rashad Al-Khiwani, Technical Director of the University Website, and Mr. Majed Aslan, Graphics Director of the University Website. Participants receive both theoretical and practical training on the fundamentals of website management, professional publishing mechanisms, and technical updating, contributing to raising the efficiency of digital performance at the faculty and center levels, and enhancing the university’s presence and academic status.
