Master’s Degree Awarded to Mr. Ali Mohsen Khassrof in Physical Education

Mr. Ali Mohsen Ali Khassrof was awarded a Master’s degree in in Physical Education for his thesis titled “The Impact of Resistance Training on Improving Muscle Strength in Youth Judo National Team Players in the Republic of Yemen,” which was submitted to Faculty of Physical Education – Sana’a University. The MA defense was held on Saturday, 27 September 2025, corresponding to Rabi’ al-Akhir 5, 1447 Hijri.
The MA Viva-voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following members:

The thesis aimed to identify the impact of resistance training on improving the muscle strength of the Yemeni Youth Judo National Team players.
The thesis reached several findings, including:
- There are of statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-measurements, favouring the post-measurement. This confirms the effectiveness of resistance training in enhancing muscle strength and its various components
The thesis recommended the necessity of Integrating resistance training into the training programs for youth Judo players due to its positive role in elevating the level of physical performance and athletic achievement.
The thesis was examined and recommended by the Viva-Voce Committee for acceptance and approval. The defense was attended by a number of academics, researchers, interested individuals, in addition to the candidate’s colleagues and family members.
