Summary:

Dr.. Khaled Nasser Al-Hajj specializes in agricultural economics, administration and rural finance. I have worked as an associate professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics, Faculty of Agriculture, Sana’a University, since 2006 until now in the field of teaching economics, managing farm business, rural finance, preparing feasibility studies and evaluating investment projects in agricultural and industry. I also worked in the field of projects impact evaluation, field surveys, data unpacking, processing and analysis. And participated in the establishment of many local development organizations. i also held a group of academic positions as head of the Department of Economics and Agricultural Extension, and Dean of the Faculties of Administrative Sciences in Private universities, as well as supervising many scientific theses for a master’s bike and many graduation projects. Moreover, it provided highly specialized training to international and local organizations as well as Governmental institutions.

  • D. degree (Agricultural Economics), University of Alexandria, Egypt, 2006, under the title: An Economic analysis for the agricultural policy in the Yemen Republic.
  • Sc. (Agricultural Economics), University of Alexandria, Egypt, 2000, under the title: Standard Economic analysis for consumption of food and the food gap in the Republic of Yemen.
  • Bachelor degree in Economics and Agricultural cooperatives, University of Sana’a, 1992.

Experience:

  • Academic and professional university professor who worked for the period 1995-2021 AD in teaching many subjects in microeconomics and macroeconomics – financial and economic feasibility study for investment projects, project management and marketing – agricultural marketing – economics and financial finance, financial management and statistics – and preparation of feasibility studies for many investment projects – and training On how to prepare feasibility studies, project management and marketing – prepare field survey forms, identify samples and statistical analysis – using modern statistical and administrative programs, in addition to training courses in human development, staff development and qualification.
  • Supervising many master’s theses and graduation projects – designing questionnaires – methods for selecting samples – field surveying and collecting data – unpacking, filtering, revising and analyzing data, using specialized programs in statistical data analysis.
