SANA’A— To reinforce the practical dimensions of the Food Engineering course, the Department of Agricultural Engineering and Modern Technologies conducted a practical application session for fourth-year Food Science students, under the supervision of Dr. Moath Othman and Ms. Samar Al-Selwi.
The practical session aimed to enable students to apply engineering principles and utilize technical measurements to evaluate the quality characteristics of beef burgers. Students monitored changes occurring during cooking processes, enhancing their ability to link theoretical concepts with practical and industrial applications in food manufacturing. This activity reflects the department’s ongoing efforts to develop students’ practical skills and qualify them to handle modern food processing techniques on scientific and engineering foundations.
