Horticulture Students Take Part in Field Activity to Prepare Nursery and Greenhouse

As part of efforts to strengthen the practical and field-based component of the educational process, the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment today held a field agricultural activity for third- and fourth-level students in the Department of Horticulture Science & its Techniques. The activity included preparing the nursery’s outdoor shade structure, installing the trellis, and replacing the greenhouse cover.
The activity was attended and supported by *Dr. Hisham Al-Jabali, the Faculty Dean*, whose presence in the field provided encouragement to the students and direct support for their preparation work. *Dr. Hassan Al-Dubai, Head of the Department of Horticulture*, also took part in directly supervising the activity and guiding the technical operations, underscoring the commitment of the faculty and department leadership to strengthening field-based learning and connecting theoretical knowledge with hands-on training.
The work was carried out under the direct supervision of Engineer Elias Manea and Engineer Taysir Al-Sanhani to ensure that the tasks were completed in accordance with established technical and agricultural standards. The activity is expected to help students develop practical skills and strengthen their field experience in horticulture.
