Horticulture Students Conduct Grape Quality Measurements for “Grape Production” Course

To enhance practical application and field training, fourth-year students in the Department of Horticulture and Its Techniques completed a practical hands-on session for the “Grape Production” course, performing quality measurements on grape clusters across various cultivars.
The experiment included measuring pH levels and Total Soluble Solids (TSS) percentage, aiming to train students on using fruit quality assessment tools and methods, as well as identifying maturity indicators and harvest readiness.
The practical application contributed to providing students with hands-on skills to evaluate the technological and sensory characteristics of grape fruits, bridging theoretical knowledge with field practice in accordance with standard agricultural criteria.
The activity was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Manea Elias and Ms. Tayseer Al-Sanhani, reflecting the faculty’s dedication to strengthening practical field training and enhancing student competence across various areas of horticultural production.
