The Department of Agricultural Economics at the Faculty of Agriculture and Environment, Sana’a University, hosted a defense session today for the Master’s thesis proposal (Seminar I) submitted by researcher Eman Mohammad Ali Al-Olofi. The proposed study is titled: “The Role of Marketing Financing in Enhancing the Efficiency of Agricultural Supply Chains.” The research project is conducted under the supervision of: • Prof. Khaled Qasem Qaid – Department Head • Prof. Khaled Nasser Al-Haj – Main Supervisor • Prof. Khaled Qasem Al-Udayni – Co-Supervisor The proposal review and evaluation committee comprised: • Prof. Dhafer Musleh Huwaida – Committee Member • Prof. Jalal Fadhl – Committee Member • Prof. Mohammad Raweh – Committee Member • Prof. Abdulmajeed Bajash – Committee Member • Prof. Adnan Al-Qubati – Committee Member • Mr. Mohammad Al-Samawi – Committee Member During the session, the researcher presented a comprehensive overview of her thesis proposal, detailing the study’s objectives, significance, methodology, literature review, theoretical framework, research hypotheses, and proposed analytical tools. Following scholarly feedback and constructive recommendations from committee members, the research plan was formally approved. The committee commended the researcher’s rigorous efforts and underscored the study’s vital role in supporting local agricultural production and supply systems. The session was attended by several faculty members, researchers, and graduate students.
