من مواليد المصلى احكوم حجرية تعز عام 1960م،تلقى التعليم الاولي في القرية والاعدادية في مدينة تعز والثانوية في مدرسة الكويت صنعاء، متزوج، ويسكن في مساكن جامعة صنعاء.
ملخص:
من مواليد الاحكوم حجرية تعز 1960م حصل على الثانوية من صنعاء واكمل الدراسة الجامعية في الزراعة من جامعة حلب في 1984م والماجستير والدكتوراه من فرنسا عام 1995م في الزراعة والتحسين الوراثي للنباتات الزراعية. متخصص في العلوم الزراعية والتحسين الوراثي للنباتات لمواجهة الضغوطات البيئية في المحاصيل الزراعية، منذ 1995م يقوم بالتدريس والبحوث في مجال الزراعة اليمنية وبخاصة الزراعة المستدامة والخبرات والمعارف التقليدية وادارة الموارد الوراثية النباتية للمحاصيل الحقلية وتنميتها وزراعة وانتاج البن اليمني. يهتم في دراسة التغيرات المناخية واثرها على الزراعة وعوامل التلائم الممكنة. عمل على تأسيس وادارة مركز الاصول الوراثية والجمعية اليمنية لتنمية الزراعة المستدامة والتي من خلالها تمكن من خدمة وتنمية القطاع الزراعي والمزارعين في اليمن، ولا يزال من خلال العمل الحالي كنائب لعميد كلية الزراعة لشؤن البيئة وخدمة المجتمع، ورئيس للجمعية اليمنية لتنمية الزراعة المستدامة www.yasadngo.org))

التعليم الاساسي في المصلى احكوم والاعدادية من مدينة تعز والثانوية من مدرسة الكويت بصنعاء عام 1978م والدراسات الجامعية من كلية الزراعة جامعة حلب عام 1984م . والدراسات العلياء بداء من اللغة الفرنسية ودبلوم دراسات عليا 1990م والماجستير عام 1992م والدكتوراه عام 1995م في مجال العلوم الزراعية والتحسين الوراثي للنباتات الزراعية .
