Department of Library and Information Science Holds Second Council Meeting for Academic Year 2026/2027

SANA’A – July 5, 2026

Department of Library and Information Science at Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Sana’a University, convened its second departmental council meeting for the academic year 2026/2027. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Abdo Al-Mekhlafi.
Opening at 10:45 a.m., the council reviewed a range of academic and administrative agenda items aimed at monitoring educational progress and enhancing departmental academic performance.
Council members exchanged insights and proposals regarding the tabled topics, issuing several decisions and recommendations designed to advance academic and administrative operations. These measures align with university rules and regulations, further supporting the department’s goals to elevate the quality of education and scientific research.
